We encourage you to bring your Anthony information to share and compare and swap!

We will have several Anthony family charts printed – all of which start with an Anthony living in the vicinity of Northern Armstrong County, born around 1780 to 1810. All of these families appear to be related, but we cannot prove it. The names include Benjamin, George, Jacob, James, William and Philip Anthony. Are these Anthony’s brothers ? cousins ? They ARE NOT included in “Genealogy of the Anthony Family, 1495 – 1904”. These Anthony’s were families of Indiana County, PA. We are looking for other Anthony descendents to attend this gathering and compare notes. You never know what information is helpful and who you may meet !

This assembly has been put together by Kathleen Pochiba Anthony and Connie Leinweber Mateer. We both have been tracing our Anthony Ancestors for over 25 years. We have hit dead-ends that we would really like to solve and continue tracing – but cannot find information beyond the time frame above.

At the New Bethlehem Library there is a copier available, plus computers and local newspapers on microfilm.

Restaurants are within walking distance. We have much to share and look forward to meeting all you Anthony ancestors!!

So mark your calendars and join our crusade!
